SandGAL 2019

“Semigroups and Groups, Automata, Logics” (10-13 June)

SandGAL 2019 is a conference that aims to bring together experts from different areas of algebra, logic, theoretical computer science and combinatorics in which Semigroup and Group Theory play an important role and interact with these disciplines in an interesting way. There will also be an opportunity for participants to present short talks. Research students are particularly encouraged to attend. Contributions on the following aspects are welcome:

  • Interaction among Semigroups and Groups, Automata and Logics;
  • Semigroups, inverse semigroups, groups: structure theory, graphical and combinatorial techniques;
  • Commutative and Numerical Semigroups;
  • Groups and semigroups defined by automata, automatic structures;
  • Constructive groups and semigroups;
  • Decidability and complexity problems in groups and semigroups;
  • Application of groups and semigroups to computer science and combinatorics.

The conference will take place in Cremona, Italy, at the Politecnico di Milano in the campus of Cremona from 10th June till 13th June 2019.
